2.1 Home Theater Power Amplifier using TDA7377

Hello guys in this Project am going to explain exactly how you can build and design 15W + 15W + 30W in 4 ohms Woofer of home theater subwoofer circuit with filters for bass and treble. It is a simple but yet a powerful home theater subwoofer project you can build.

This Project is based on TDA7377 IC, TDA7377 IC has 4 channel input and 4 channel output. For using 2.1 Power Amplifier on two channel is bridge to one output so the output is 3 channel , one channel use for bass or subwoofer speaker. And the other 2 channel is using for mid and treble speakers.

 Some aldditional information, this IC is already amplifying IC which requires just few external components for its operation. The main amplifying components are already inbuilt. As a result of this, it is convenient for even a learner to build an audio amplifier using TDA7377.I already connect the “standby” contact to the positive potential using 10k resistor, it already activates the amplifier. Let get started, see circuit diagram below.

The TDA7377 ic should be mounted on a heat sink for cooling the IC. And After you construct it you can add a dc cooling Fan for cooling it while the IC is operating.

Amplifier Components

TDA7377 IC
10K = 1
10µF 50v = 2
1000µF 16v = 1
1000µF 50v = 2
2A224J = 3
2A104j = 1
10KB volume = 2
Vero board
Speakers = 2
Subwoofer Speaker = 1
12V Power Supply

Bass [Only]  Filter Component
TL078
1K = 1
10K = 2
100K = 1
5.6K = 2
0.1µF / 2A104J = 3
0.47µF / 2A104J = 3
10µF 50v = 2
100µF 16v = 1

Requirements

30W subwoofer Speaker, At least the speaker should be rated 30/50W and above
20W speakers,At least the speaker should be rated 20W and above
10V – 12V 5A DC single power supply

The integrated circuit [IC] should be mounted on its heat sink because the IC will be heating up while operating A DC fan can be initiated for better cooling of the IC
